This scene was captured on an adventurous night in Yellowstone National Park. The trees framing the sky were above an open area I found to sleep for a few hours near a grizzly feeding I planned to photograph in the morning. Observing the Milky Way move across the night sky sparked an appreciation for not only where I was (in a place as beautiful as Yellowstone laying under the Milky Way), but also where we are in the universe and and even more of a wonder for what’s left to be discovered.
