Dalaikhan is a Kazakh eagle hunter in the Altai region of Northwestern Mongolia. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year and spending time with his friends and family. He is a kind man who displays great compassion in his life. His gentle yet powerful presence doesn’t end with his family. You can see the mutual care and respect that is earned with his eagle when they are training together.
