Rosa's Journey

I was saddened by how little the civil rights of black people in America has not changed significantly in the past fifty years. We're still fighting for voting equity, fighting for the right to jog in public without being afraid for our lives, dying disproportionatly of Covid 19, fighting to not be profiled as criminals because of the color of our skin. Rosa Parks is the (s)hero of this scenario. She sits peacefully dispite the hatred and hostility surrounding her. Yet, even today, the reality continues to be peopled with negative stereotypes of the black race.
