Venice Beach is known for it's grit, grime, and feral nature. However, Dogtown has evolved. The Venice Beach Skate Park, located just feet from the Pacific Ocean, has become a culturally rich home to skateboarders of all ages. Isiah (pictured), along with others, has become a kind of big brother to a dozen young skaters hoping to follow in his footsteps. Parents love the bond their children have with the seasoned athletes from the Beach. In an environment known for its edge, a generation of skaters will remember Venice as a warm, encouraging, and safe space where they honed their craft.
