Tipping The Summit, Buttermere

A calm morning at Buttermere and a solitary cloud forms over the tip of the hillside. F11 was chosen as a sweet spot for the lens and a low ISO to gain as clear a picture as possible with no noise. Rolling mist added to the drama. A ND Grad filter was used to control the exposure of the sky a little.

Chris started building a powerful portfolio of landscape photography back in 2005. Based at his gallery in York, U.K. he runs landscape photography workshops and courses in the U.K and in Europe and is a regular speaker at photographic societies in the north of England. He is an Ambassador for the Canson Infinity range of fine art photographic papers.
