I observed my transgender friend during the transition process. I became fascinated with possibilities of changes a human body has. Tried to catch the moment between. Beauty of the body, not yet a men but not a women anymore.

Joanna Musial (1991, Cracow, Poland) is a Polish visual artist and photographer graduated from the Graphics department at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland. ln 2020 she defended her master’s degree, with honorable mention. Member of the Archive of Public Protests. Her works has been awarded at IPA Awards, MIFA Awards, TIFA Awards, Prix de la Photographie and published in magazines such as The British Journal, The Calvert Journal, Vogue Poland, National Geographic Poland, Die Zeit, Madrid no Frills, Le Monde Fr, Chime for change by Gucci and others.
