"Doubled" is a series focusing on photos of identical twins portraits and historical places in israel made over several years. The choice of a double "object", dressed uniformly and set in institutional spaces, engages with the issue of blurring and erasing individual identity by fusing the figures. The series pursues, as it were, a nostalgic, vague childhood memory of a past that did not necessarily exist. This longing is infused with critical questions about past and present. The public spaces presented in the series seem to have frozen in time and about to disappear.
