I shoot this series of photos when the Taiwanese Double-Layer Sakura (八重櫻) was in full bloom around Lantern Festival in 2019.

I am fascinated by these darker pink cherry blossoms as they look like fireworks under the pitch black sky. For the profile picture, I only had a window of 5 seconds to take this shot before the misty full moon was completely blocked out by the clouds again.

This was shot at Lohas Park, Taipei, Taiwan.
