A Landscape study made at a remote and inaccessible head land on the West Coast of Ireland. Earth, Water, Air… are the recurring elements that I work with and on this occasion the elements combined perfectly to help create a photograph that demonstrated the spirituality of nature. The combination of light, tone and movement helping to create a point in time to reflect and be drawn into a world of oneness, contemplation and tranquility.
David Magee (b.1963) is an Irish Artist. He has been making photographs outside, Working primarily before dawn and in the darker hours. With an alluringly distinctive style offering the viewer a point in time to reflect and be drawn into a world of quietude, contemplation and tranquility.
Working predominantly in series, Magee’s work explores thresholds - between land and sea, light and shadow, presence and absence - inviting quiet, contemplative
engagement.
