Nowadays, more than ever before, landscapes are both natural and man-made. It could be argued that pristine nature and wilderness of romantic imagination have perished for good. The line between nature and culture in landscapes is blurry. Landscapes are always imaginary.

For me, searching for landscapes and taking pictures is about softness. Softness of the world which runs without me and softness of the dreamy and surreal experience of the unknown and timeless.

Photographs hereby presented were taken in Europe and Latin America in areas which all enjoy some level of nature protection.
