My series consists of photos from my collection of car fine art
photography which is partly commercial and partly self commissioned
work. The aim of this collection is to portray the beauty of cars to the
world and to give recognition to the creative work of car designers. The
photos are created using a lighting technique which is not commercially
available. It allows me to create a matt finish on the bodywork of the car
and is particularly useful to light smaller areas of the car to bring out the
subtle details of the design.
I’m a commercial photographer with a passion for cars and creative lighting techniques. Currently I’m working on a collection called “car fine art” which is aimed to portray the beauty of cars and to give recognition to the creative work of car designers. The photos are created using a lighting technique I had to design myself to enable me to create a low key lighting effect when shooting cars on location.
