The Mermaid Parade is an annual event founded in 1983. It has
no ethnic, religious, or commercial roots. The citizens of New York
invented this major local holiday for people to express themselves
artistically through costumes and dance.

Awards My work has been published in The Guardian UK, Exposure, KC Magazine, Present Magazine,and exhibited in The United States Embassy in Portugal, The United Nations in NYC, Belgrade Center for Cultural Studies as well as many other places in Kansas City and around the world.
