I have been around women with some sort of dysfunctional
relationship with food al my life, and I have fallen victim to this
relationship myself a few times. The series portrays the constant
dilemmas that befall a woman tangled in this unhealthy
romance in a lighthearted and humorous way that reveals the
ridiculousness of it all, without hopefully being preachy. The
constant guilt about succumbing to temptations, the private
shaming and one's self-loathing for yesterday's lunch, the
incessant need to burn off every calorie consumed, the complete
elimination of certain food groups, the belief that you can only
find love if you can fit in skinny jeans, are all underlying ideas I
aim to explore.
