With the fist held high for Mexico

Mexico is bursting with anonymous heroes. In the following days
after the earthquake on September 19th, 2017, I was surrounded
by many of them. I decided I had to document what I was
witnessing; people overturning the streets helping with love and
solidarity to one another regardless of gender, age, color, social
status, job position…we all had a common goal: to help.

I started as a volunteer, doing a bit of everything: from helping
gathering centers to going into the rubble helping place wooden
poles. Whatever was needed I did without hesitation.

But, I realized I had to do a little more. I was witnessing acts and
moments so unique that had to be documented, to then be shared
as a tribute to each and every one of the individuals that broke
their souls helping save people, animals and try to bring peace to
the victims of the earthquake.
