UnDragged

  • Photographer
    Giselle Dias, United States

UnDragged is a project that started with a 12-Piece collection of
pictures, featuring 14 Drag Queens.

Each photo has a bit of the pictured Drag Queen's personality
represented either by their action, colors, or symbolism.
All photos were taken place in the same location; the
bathroom. Because the artist believes is the place where people
feel the most comfortable with themselves.
The concept behind the photos was to show the vulnerability of
being human behind the character, but still incorporating the
fundamentals of Drag Art.

The artist started the project “UnDragged" with the purpose to
create informative art and promote the Brasilian Drag Queen
culture. Now "UnDragged" has established itself as a multimedia
drag platform.
