Maasai Mama

It was approaching sunset and the rest of the Maasai community
were busy at work. The young Maasai boys were rounding the
cattles in, the women were bringing in the dry cowhide to be used
as a mattress for their bed, and the children were running around
chasing one another. In the midst of the busyness, a Maasai
woman stood outside her boma, carrying her baby on her back,
and stopped to watch the beautiful sunset; a wonderful reminder to stop and smell the roses.

Born in Singapore, raised in NYC, having studied and lived in Italy, Jacqueline's journey has encompassed careers in finance, interior design, luxury design, and has ultimately led her to follow her passion in photography. She is an award winning photographer and has exhibited her work all around the world, from a solo show in NYC, LA, and Miami to exhibits in London, Australia, and Cuba.

Jacqueline uses visual storytelling to bring awareness to various communities, cultures and causes, finding ways to bridge human connections across continents so we can find beauty in our differences and comfort in our similarities. She believes in photography as a catalyst for change by being a platform for visual storytelling, and as a platform to physically, emotionally, and mentally connect to others. Through her photos, she seeks to inspire joy, compassion and a call-to-action evoking others to Feel What I See™.
