This man has polio and lives with other disabled people in a derelict building in Freetown, Sierra Leone. They occupy an old government ministry building that was set alight by rebels during the civil war. Being disabled in Sierra Leone is very tough - many people believe that disabilities are a result of black magic and shun those who have them. It's next to impossible to find a job. These people receive no government support. They support each other in the community that they've formed. This man is sitting in a garage that sells spare parts next to where he lives.
