Moving Landscapes

Through my Moving images I sought even more of a connection
with the truly visually observable landscape. That tiny bit of
recognition so you know where you are. And at the same time, the
challenge to search for what is there. And what you actually see
and what this image brings to mind. Through this, the Moving
series created its own, completely personal dynamic.
Moving images ask you to stand still. They show you a dynamic
within the landscape and mirror your feelings. They ask you to
which extent the landscape reflects your experience of life.
This Moving series mirrors a life in which everything is constantly
in movement, at the same time bringing some sort of stillness -
rest - along with it.

When I was 15 years old my neighbor introduced me into his world of photography. By looking at his beautiful far away landscapes I ended up in a different world. I got my first camera from him.
I have been working as a landscape photographer since 2000. Gradually I started to see more and more the pure beauty of the mundane landscape. I discovered its essence, its abstraction and its poetic sides.
In my work I portray the beauty of the everyday landscape in an unusual way.
By taking the time you will see more and look differently.
I call my work visual poetry.
