"Ghost Architecture" is an ongoing photographic project about the
abandoned architectures. While photographing the abandonded
buildings and the dead cities i visited, I felt the aura surrounding
them was somehow belonging to a different dimension, althought
the buildings still remain rooted to the earth...This photograph is
an excerpt from the series.
After Graduating as an Interior Designer in London (UK) and studying architecture in Italy, today I work as a freelance for interiors, furniture and lighting design, as well as photographer of interiors, architecture and still life.
In addition to the commisioned photography works, I use photography to investigate and tell the relations between anthropized sites and the person, the "distortions" that urban centers operate on the individual as well as cultural environments in which he lives. These "distortions" are what capture my attention and that, step by step, in this process of research reveal to my inner eyes, little by little, the illusory nature of what we call reality.
