This is a composite image that staked two photos together. The idea
came from seeing my daughter practicing piano for a competition. She
made every effort in order to stay competitive for the contest. When I
listen to her playing, I felt like the piano had endless keys as she
seems to have practiced countless times in order to make it perfect.
Therefore, I took a photo of her playing on a piano and another photo
on a local railroad. By combining these two photos, it looks like the
piano’s keys were extended to infinite. This work is a metaphor and
also a life experience that an effort behind a success is endless. I
dedicated this work for my daughter and wish her carry the positive
attitude, beyond a piano contest, throughout her life.
