Ghosts is a portrait series on crack-cocaine addicts.
I have attempted to humanise my sitters in an attempt to banish
the “us” and “them” mentality which is present in todays fractured
Brazilian society. To achieve this I needed to get as close to my
subjects as possible so that you could you look into their eyes and
realise that they too are human beings; that they too are a part of
this society in which we all belong.
