Armenia

  • Photographer
    Ilya Vartanian, Armenia

These photographs of Armenian women are a very small part of a
very large personal project about Armenia. The project itself was
ongoing for five years with many visits to the country, during
which the country itself, with its architecture and landscape and
the people of it have been the subject. The project has been
finished recently and formed into a book, which has not been
published yet and is at the stage of a ready made prototype
waiting to be published. Yet this is the first time the original
photographs are going out into the world, in the hope of being
widely viewed by the public eye at an exhibition.
Please be kind and gentle with them...
