Suspended 30 feet above me, these are the trapeze performers
form The Great Moscow Circus. I captured them as they were
travelling around Australia for their 50th Anniversary tour. I
wanted to capture both their physical and emotional closeness.
The title is a play on words that suggests more than just the need
to be held closely for physical safety - as they had no net
underneath them. I took these images on a Nikon D810, Tamron
70-200mm 2.8 lens.
