The series focuses on rescued from the violent death of the Spanish Greyhounds
Spanish Greyhounds were favorites of noble families in the 18-19 centuries. Images of dogs adorned the walls of castles and villas along with portraits of their owners. Today, we can enjoy the images of these precious animals, in many museums and galleries in the world.
Unfortunately, in the 21st century, these beautiful animals have been the object of destruction. After the hunting season in Spain, kill with varying degrees of cruelty to 60 thousand dogs.

All dogs photographed for this series, bear the traces of violence on their healed body that they endured in the recent past, but despite this they remain as beautiful as the paintings of the 18-19th centuries.

Sveta Elfimova is a professional dog photographer. Sveta was born in Russia and has traveled all over the world. In 2014 adopted Spanish Greyhound from Spain and in 2016 was started a photo project with the Spanish Greyhound Galgo to help these amazing dogs through their photos.
