New Olympus

This is my photographic vision of Calatrava's "Oculus" and the prominent Freedom Tower at
the World Trade Centre (WTC) in New York City. This particular vantage point within the
architectural matrix of Ground Zero triggered the story of a triumphant Bellerophon and
Pegasus at Mount Olympus and thus the title for this photograph. The building on the left
offered a nice reflection to offer an extension of the wing of the Oculus and to
demonstrate a dynamic symmetry-assymetry in the overall composition.
