This is a selection from my recent street series done in USA.
The title of the series is USA28, all photographs have been taken
with a manual camera and a 28 mm lens with analogue film ILFORD DELTA400.
Michele Abriola has made several reportages around the world, from Thailand to China, via India has impressed in his way, those characters that everyone can see and only some are able to 'focus'. So between 2007 and 2010 take shape the project "The Face of Tianjin", "People Contact" and his more sophisticated creature, "Ice Cream I Scream", original and well-known project on portraiture. Then, in 2013, it was the turn of social documentaries: "L'altra India", "The indian night" and "Relazioni", made respectively on the outskirts of Delhi and metropolitan areas including Shanghai, Beijing and Lishui followed by "FIVET".
These works have not gone unnoticed, have attracted the attention of numerous magazines including "View Nortes", "Fotocult", "The Photographer", "Witness Journal", "L'eretico idea arte pensiero", "Kataweb", "SuperEva" "Photoworld China", "ISP International Street Photographer"; but also of the national newspaper "La Repubblica".
Awards are immediately came the exhibitions and abroad. In 2012, in Beijing he is at the famous Xynhua Agency.
Following the selection in Arles, France, during the Festival VoiesOFF, while in Strasbourg, France, Michele was among 60 international artists selected to exhibit at the Rendez Vous Image at the Palais de Congres. In 2013 at Auray, also in France, his projects were among 12 chosen at the photographic exhibition La nuit de la photo.
