Despite the efforts to allow children to have access to
educational opportunities and to have maximum
independence,the school is faced with many problems such as
the lack of teaching materials within the country,the lack of
rehabilitation project and no support from the family.
The school for the blind depends on the support of foreign
agencies and individual benefactors, to keep business running.
Awards 2010 - Polaris photo contest - 5 place for the categories "wildlife shot and 3 honorable mention for the categories "wildlife shot" and Lands and travelling people".
2010 - FIOF professional awards - 3 Silver awards for the categories "reportage and photojournalism" , 1 bronze award for the category "reportage and photojournalism".
2011 - FIOF professional awards - 1 bronze award for the category "reportage and photojournalism".
2011 - Oasis photo contest - 4 place for the category "people and population". Jury was led by american photographer Steve McCurry.
2012 - FIOF Nikon awards - 4 silver awards for the category "reportage and photojournalism" , 4 bronze awards for the category "portraits".
2012 - International Sillian Organisation - finalist for the section "color" with 3 photos , and for the section "monochrome" with 2 photos.
2012 - Travel photographer of the year - Finalist and nominee for the best single image for the category "people watching".
