Time has an unsurmountable obstacle. While it is the main dimension of human life it is
an incomprehensible feature of nature. It can only be comprehended by the end results.The
flow which is the dominant characteristic of time can be partly understood by metaphor and
symbolism.
In the project presented, «wear and tear» i aim to depict the flow of time by the traces
it leaves on the sea surface. The other elements in my photos are the results of flow.
Man can only perceive the flow of time solely through the destruction it leaves in its pass.
