This is an on going project about teenager girls in Milano (16th-
17th) and about the awareness of an age.
The project, that was born to mean the aestetics differences
among the teens, soon developed into a project about self
awareness.
During the shooting I have asked the girls to be natural, to not
control their image and not try to be captivating (as they
normally are with the selfie) and after the shooting I have
immediately published the image on Facebook and Instagram in
order to become a friend.
Now I’m starting to film the teens while asking them questions
like: who they are, what gives them back the photographer with
this portrait and what could think who looks at them in this
portrait.
The final result will give back to the teens a new consciousness
of themselves and to the photographer a portraiture of an age in
Milano.
