They are an emanation of ourselves, they haunt us in these
introspection moments created by our day to day life.
They appear when we fall deep inside ourselves and scream with
rage to wake us up and escape.
This series is still in development.
Once at Parisian, now at Montrealer, Anne-Claire Vimal from Monteil, studied cinema, history of art and philosophy. She worked at the Orsay Museum and in The Archipel, a Parisian movie theater dedicated to movie music before devoting herself to photography and photographic post-production.
Her artistic projects are revolving around dreamlike, poetic or symbolic staging. Plastic experimentation is as well at the heart of her photographic work.
