Madonna is a term for a noble or otherwise important woman.
For over a thousand years, through the Byzantine, Medieval and
Early Renaissance periods the Madonna was the most often
produced pictorial artwork. I grow up whit the orthodox
religion. My Grandma has many Madonnas Pictures on her wall
and this inspired me one day. So that i decided to realize a
photo story about Madonnas, trying to use the poses, the light
and the colors from that time, but in a modern way. The color
blue symbolized by the way purity, virginity, and royalty.
