Unhappy animal in zoo

A hippo lay down on the concrete floor with boring eyes. A wildlife was
caught by a small space to be demonstrated foe people in zoo. People go
to zoo to see these pitiful animal without any pity. Is it right or wrong to
keep animals without risk of extinction in the zoo?
