”Scares” relate to the delicate gap that exist between a person and
his own self. And the shreds that fills it.
Before the beginning of the actual shooting the model and myself are
getting to know each other, we discuss the reason he or she wanted
to take part in the project, we share our personals scars.
Then according to the elements that where reveled during our
conversation we decade which emotions we will explore during the
photographic séance, then the actual shooting become a therapeutic
process, for both of us.
During the manually postproduction process each picture is
humanized from a two dimension object to a whole human creature,
a realistic one, one how is wearing his own scars.
It is then when he comes back to his two dimensional form only
now he is not flat anymore, he consume different layers like the rest
of us.
Awards My series SCARS was presented in FOTOFEVER Paris 2014 FRESH PAINT art fair 7 (2014) ,Israel as in different galleries in French and Germany. And will be presented (among 12 other nominees) in the 2015 Luxembourg art prize
