Haiku Portraits

Images for me are a form of poetry and expression. I wanted to
create a series that in essence would touch people emotionally just
like a "Haiku". I found the definition of a Haiku poem was exactly
what I wanted to create with my images and reading one every day
can mean something for the rest of that day and carry a positive
feeling. The idea is that every image might relate and resound for
each person in many different ways. They can take whatever
feeling from one image at a time and then make it their own in a
positive manner.

I am completely self taught and started photography about 4 years ago. I fell in love with it and capturing images became vital to me and I feel very passionate about it. Coming from a performing art and design background, I try to constantly use all the knowledge I possess from my other skills and I work on developing my style and finding ways to express a feeling in my images.
