Portrait of my 85 year old grandmother, Eva Earlene. She has been
living in my parent's house for two years now as she was unable to
live on her own any longer. With Parkinson's Disease she isn't able to
walk long distances so she doesn't like to get out of the house much
and spends most of her time doing puzzles in her back bedroom. My
mother and I are constantly encouraging her to sit outside when the
weather is nice. This photo is from a warm spring afternoon when she
wandered onto the back porch. Nana is sitting in her 'house coat' with
two of our dogs and her glass of milk in hand-which is never far from
her.
