Located at Riyadh’s historical center, the Tower was built in 1969.
With the rapid development and growth that Saudi Arabia
underwent during the last 20 years, the Tower lost its grandeur.
Nonetheless, the renovations that took place in 2005 recaptured
some of its lost glory. The surrounding area was transformed into a
public park, containing miniatures garden of Saudi landmarks. In
addition to a rooftop restaurant providing a spectacular panoramic
view of the city.
The Riyadh Water Series is an attempt to revoke dreary memories,
and awakening the senses to view the authentic Tower in
contemporary reality.
