A Tribute to Mario Cravo Neto

The brazilian photographer Mário Cravo Neto was my master.
When I started photographing, more than twenty years ago, every new work I had I would
come to him for advice. He was always there.
Besides that I have always been a great fan of his work and I used it as inspiration for
my own.
He died in 2009 and this series of nudes is my tribute to him.

Graduated in Law at PUC / RJ and in Fine Art Photography at New England School of Photography, Boston, USA.

He held solo exhibitions at Rio Design Center, Rio de Janeiro (1990); Fotóptica Gallery, São Paulo (1990); Museum of Image and Sound, São Paulo (1991); Milan Gallery, São Paulo (1996), among others. Participated in the collective Fotoriografia, Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro (1991); V Latin American Colloquium on Photography, Photographic Gallery Collection, Mexico (1996); Concert Images, Porto Photography Space, Portugal (2001), SP-FOTO 2016, Biographica Gallery, Nature
