The Public Hospitals in NYC have a mission to take any and all
patients. Roughly a third of the visits to the system each year are
uninsured. Still the system operates to the highest standards for
treatment, training, and outreach to the communities it serves.
These photographs will be used in the 2013 Public
Hospital's Annual Report to the public.
John Rae is a professional documentary and commercial photographer based in NYC. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and leading International Nongovernmental Organizations. For 20 years John has photographed extensively in over 85 countries and those photographs have appeared in major publications in the US, Europe, and Australia.
