Durmitor Park

Durmitor Park is an Unesco site since 1980, its name probably
derives from Balkan Romance and it means "sleeping". It fits
perfect with the peacefulness of this massif and its plateu where
only small villages and shepherd homes are found. In the last
twenty years more than the 15% of the inhabitants emigrated. The
intention of this portfolio is to testify some strains of the silent
presence of this people who are the guardians of this landscape.

Filippo Poli, architect, has been working as a photographer since 2008. His personal projects explore the cultural landscape and the evolving relationship between humans and nature.
