Shot on film. Photographs of three millennials in an abandoned oceanfront apartment in the outskirts of Taipei, reflecting on the fact of the city having the highest rent-to-price ratio of the world, the sign of the unreasonable increase in real estate prices. Combining one clear image and two out-of-focus shots, this work presents an ironic comparison between the superficial integrity and the realistic state of dilapidation. It is the honest portrayal of the baffled young generation facing the housing bubble, desperately asking for a place to stay and finding their voices in this decaying world.
