Shot in the mountains of the Kashmir valley along the borders of India and Pakistan, I have tried to capture emotions which seem to just pierce through the soul telling you things, which are away hidden and unknown to the modern world!
I was born and raised in a small beautiful town called Islamabad in Kashmir (On the border of India and Pakistan). People like me born close to 1990's are called ‘Children of Conflict’ probably because we have seen so much bloodshed and chaos in our lives, which even the soldiers fighting in wars hardly get to see! That being the harsh reality. The bright side being despite the hardships Kashmir has to go through, I got to complete my school and college there. After that, I did Masters in Business Administration here in the UK in year 2011. Currently, I work as a Management Consultant. Life here is pretty different from what I was used to in Kashmir 3 years ago. Everything is bizarrely hectic yet professional. Saying that, I have managed to find a frivolous part of my mind that has escaped this cartouche of madness to focus on Photography. I love art and I love photography, so here I try to combine the two in the hope that the passing moments are preserved for us to cherish in future! God Bless us all!
