In Morocco the marriage celebration includes several well organized ceremonies that can last from 3 days to a week, depending on the family and region of Morocco. Two days before the wedding, customs require the bride to go to traditional Moroccan Hamam, sauna with her girl friends and relatives. She will then get the visit of relatives and friends before her wedding day.
In October 2012 I was kindly invited by the Kali family as a photographer to the wedding of Sokaina their cousin, and Omar in the berber village Tikirte in South East Morocco.
