Plastic Beach

In search of a new residence I traveled 4,800
kilometers with my family along the coastline of Brazil.
These photographs are a partial visual record of our
journey. For six months, we traveled at times by boat,
at times by car. Packed with our family of five, an
occasional friend, dog, surfboards, and schoolbooks,
our old but trustworthy Land Rover served as a
mobile base.
Brazil has 7,491 kilometers of coastline. Our Land
Rover awaits parked under a tree for the exploration
to continue. We still can’t decide where to live.
