The Judea Cora is the Cora´s interpretation of the Holy week. The Cora ethnic in Nayarit was one of the last ones to be conquered by the spanish conquistadores, in fact, they were not conquered by force but by religion. Because of this, they still have very marked prehispanic traditions which they mix with catholic ones and the result its just amazing. They paint their bodies with natural pigments, some of them are made of mashed corn and honey. The Red represents Jesus Christ´s Blood.
