This work is inspired by the "Girls with Guns" heroines in the action movies of the 50' and 60': strong women who would shoot first and ask later. These contemporary women love "Girls with Guns" because, more than any other, this genre gives women extra strength, intelligence, attitude and assertiveness; placing women in prominent roles while relegating men to secondary and demeaning ones. A seductive interpretation of the girl power motto. The "girls" in this project are depicted in their own homes with their favourite firearms.
