The Samaritans perform the Passover sacrifice exactly as their ancestors did thousand years ago.All males,including children,participate in the ceremony.They kill the lamb,put a wooden stick in it and bury it for a few hours in a pit which had been heated by a fire.They cover the pit with wet mud and slow cook it for several hours.
