This portrait series began after an extensive gallery tour through Europe; its inspiration is drawn from painted portraits in genres ranging from the Renaissance to the Parisian Avant Garde. I strive to accentuate my subjectâ??s characteristics with subtle narrative, a strong sense of mood and a compelling color palette. Though the work began because of my interest in paintings, it continues because of my interest in people.

Braden is a New York based photographer. His travels feed his voracious hunger to produce innovative imagery. The surrealistic work is created, not captured, telling stories of culture, characters, fashion, and the drama relating them.
