Sara Minelli was born in Rome on July 21st, 1974.
She has a Batchelors degree in Anthropology and a Masters degree in International Cooperation and Human Rights.
As a freelance photographer focusing on contemporary social issues, she started using the camera as a record of poverty and violation of human rights in marginal and minority groups.
From the hard situation in Kosovo, moving to the situation post September 11th in New York, the African country and South America, she kept on documenting the social and political issues of our times.
Following news of national and international concern, she is now working on medium-long term projects linked to conflicts and post war situations, with a special emphasis investigating the Middle East circumstances.
Her work it has been shown in several exhibitions with a extensive recognition and has been supported and used by NGOs and Onlus.
