Documentary project of Iraqi war refugees in Middle East

Suyeon Yun, Korean-Born photographer earned her MFA in photography at Yale University(2008), BFA in photography from Art Institute of Boston(2003). She won several awards recently; Daum Prize 2008 from Geonhi Art Foundation(Korea), Alice Kimball English Traveling Fellowship 2008 from Yale University(USA), and Tierney Fellowship 2008 from Tierney Art Foundation(USA).
Her work has been done with human event of war, such as INCOMPLETE JOURNEY(2003-2006)-North Korean refugees who escaped from the North and lately settled in the South-, HOMECOMING(2006-2008)-U.S. war veterans from WWII to current Iraq War-, and NEW HAVEN, NO HAVEN(2008-present)-Iraqi refugees in Middle East and third countries-. Her work also has been in collections of Yale Art Museum, MoCP, and several art foundations internationally. Now she is based in Middle East and U.S. for her third war series.
