With this self-portrait series, I create distorted, psychologically symbolic images that defy the logic of the normal visual world.

I am a teacher who lives in the United States. The work I have submitted is from a series of images titled "The Expat". They chronical the life and death of an American expatriate who fled the United States for South America in the months after 9/11.
